Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started

Did It Today is designed for students in Grades 1-6 who want to build their reading comprehension skills. Parents and guardians can create accounts and manage their child's learning journey.

Getting started is easy! Simply click Get Started, choose the plan that suits your child, fill in your details, and complete checkout. Your account will be created automatically once your order is confirmed.

Yes. All new users receive a 7-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to get started. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your annual subscription will be charged automatically.

Please note that if you sign up using a discount code, the trial period may differ or may not apply, depending on the terms of that offer.

Not at all. All you need is a device with internet access and a web browser - and you're ready to go.

Membership & Plans

We offer two annual subscription plans: Daily Reader and Super Reader. Each plan gives your child access to a set number of passages per day, along with quizzes, progress tracking, and badges.

All plans are billed upfront for the full subscription period (e.g., one year). There is no monthly payment option.

Yes. Subscriptions auto-renew for the same period by default. Your payment method on file will be charged unless you cancel before the renewal date.

You can upgrade your plan anytime. Downgrades or cancellations take effect at the end of your current subscription period.

We accept major credit and debit cards, Link, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Each child needs their own account. This ensures that learning progress, quiz scores, and badges are tracked accurately for every student.

You can cancel at any time. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. We don't offer refunds for unused time, except in rare cases required by law or due to billing errors. If you're on a free trial, make sure to cancel before it ends to avoid being charged.

Platform & Features

Did It Today works on computers, tablets, and most smartphones - anything with a web browser and internet access.

Passages are selected automatically based on your child's grade level, so every student gets content that's just right for them. A Grade 2 student, for example, will always receive Grade 2 passages.

Quiz scores are tracked to monitor your child's performance and unlock badges. Only Part A – General Questions count toward the final quiz score.

All Part A – General Questions must be completed to finish the quiz and receive a score. Part B – Bonus Challenge questions are optional and unscored — but we strongly encourage students to give them a try for a deeper understanding of each passage.

Suggested answers are provided for the Bonus Challenge only when the student submits a response. If a Bonus Challenge is left blank, no suggested answer will be shown.

No worries! Quizzes can be retaken as many times as needed until your child feels confident.

Once a student passes a passage, it's marked as complete and removed from their list. If a student doesn't pass, the passage stays available for further practice.

Badges are awarded for completing quizzes, achieving high scores, and reaching key reading milestones.

Annual Graduation Badges celebrate a student's consistent effort and progress throughout the year - a great way to recognize their hard work!

Grade promotion happens automatically on 1 August each year, during the summer holidays. Students remain in their current grade until that date and cannot be promoted manually before then.

To graduate from Did It Today, a student must complete the Grade 6 curriculum and earn the 'Grade 6 Graduate' badge. Once this achievement is unlocked, the student will be recognized as a Did It Today graduate during the annual update on 1 August — a wonderful milestone to celebrate their six-year reading journey!
